Paradox

A seemingly contradictory statement that may nonetheless be true: the paradox that standing is more tiring than walking.

I was told this weekend that I experienced a paradox. I am researching paradox in order to see if I can find my paradox.

Quotes on Paradox:

•“The paradox of courage is that a man must be a little careless of his life even in order to keep it.” – G. K. Chesterton

•“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”- Carl Rogers

•“The most exquisite paradox…as soon as you give it all up, you can have it all. As long as you want power, you can’t have it. The minute you don’t want power, you’ll have more than you ever dreamed possible. – Ram Dass

•“Every experience is a paradox in that it means to be absolute, and yet is relative; in that it somehow always goes beyond itself and yet never escapes itself.” – T. S. Eliot

•“I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.” – Mother Teresa
