Are you looking for inspiration?

I am…reading.

Actually I just finished reading “Affirmations”-(How to Expand Your Personal Power & Take Back Control of Your Life) by Stuart Wilde. I have read lots of books about affirmations in support of my creating two sets of affirmation cards. I always learn something new from what others think about using affirmations. Reading is a source of greater depth in my learning.

My title for today’s daily musings was dedicated to looking for inspiration. I consider this book one that could inspire the reader to all the possibilities in their life. This is a self help book where he gives you steps to follow and even includes affirmations to use.

Quotes on reading:

•“Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.” – Maya Angelou

•“There are worse crimes than burning books. One of them is not reading them.” – Ray Bradbury

•“A truly good book teaches me better than to read it. I must soon lay it down, and commence living on its hint. What I began by reading, I must finish by acting.” – Henry David Thoreau

•“If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.” – Oscar Wilde
