This sounds like a nice way to start the month of November with Men Make Dinner Day. It is aimed at the men who never cook. The day has it’s own website (http://www.menmakedinnerday.com/home/index.php)which features reasons for participation, rules for today and even some simple recipes to get you started.
Rules include a no interference policy for the women of the household, no feeding the resulting meal to the dog, and no barbecue-ing.
Mention of this day brings me back to years ago when in my local tall club (Tall Club of Silicon Valley) had a hunks cook-off. Men did all the cooking and us ladies just provided the plates and utensils for enjoying the results. There was no barbecue-ing. I do remember enjoying some delicious chili.
