Chocolate Covered Anything Day

I am…eating chocolate.

The origin of this day goes back to the mid 1800’s. Swedes discovered a method for covering anything in chocolate that today we know as chocolate fondue.

In a small town in Minnesota the first Chocolate Covered Anything was celebrated, marked by numerous concoctions like chocolate dipped ham strips (eventually this became the modern-day chocolate covered bacon phenomenon), chocolate covered pine cones, and even chocolate covered meatballs.

Golly another opportunity to eat food covered in chocolate. Such a problem. I guess I will volunteer to participate. Yesterday I received some chocolate covered graham crackers as a gift. They would qualify.
