Scoop Ice Cream Today

Okay, I am starting with history of Ice Cream Month and will get to serious idea of scooping your favorite flavor/s.

July 9, 1984 the then President Ronald Reagan of the United States proclaimed that July was forever to be ‘Ice Cream Month‘ and to go out and celebrate with appropriate ceremonies and activities. Sounds like time to eat your favorite flavor ice cream.

I enjoy eating ice cream. There are so many choices of flavors. One of my favorite ways to eat ice cream is drinking a vanilla milk shake with whipped cream and a cherry on top.

My current favorite flavor is Dreyer’s soft churned Caramel Delight. I like to stir in up and make it even softer. Yum.

Today July 17th is National Ice Cream Day and my tall club is going to gather at a local Ice Cream store in Sacramento to celebrate together. Nice reason to get together with friends during the warm and sometimes rather hot days here in Northern California.
