Today is Flag Day in USA

Flag Day commemorates the adoption of flag by resolution of the Second Continental Congress on June 14, 1777. The flag resolution stated: The flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation.

National Flag Day Foundation observers Flag Day annually on the second Sunday of June. This year is the 14^th.

Last year in December the Trump Administration made Flag Day a free entrance day at United States national parks. The Administration at the same time revoked two other free entrance days Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteeth

I will be hanging my flag today. Will you? I like seeing all my neighbors on my court hanging theirs too.

As Americans, we are proud of our flag, our culture, and our nation. So, raise the flag today and every day with pride!
