How to end the work week

I am…going to the movies.

I am seeing movies based on true life.

Last night I saw “The Sessions” created from autobiographical writings of California–based journalist and poet Mark O’Brien. The movie tells the story of a man confined to an iron lung and his determination – at age 38 – to lose his virginity with the help of his priest and therapists. Helen Hunt played the part of one therapist. It was well done. It is a sad, uplifiting and funny movie about love and sexuality under the most difficult circumstances

Today I am going to see Argo. This movie is about the 66 American who were taken hostage in Nov 1979 at US embassy in Tehran Iran. Six of them slip away and find refuge with Canadian ambassador and then a plan is created to get them out of the country. Ben Affleck stars in this one.

I enjoy movies based on true stories. It has been months since I took time to see a movie on the big screen. I have a theatre less than a mile from my house so I try to combine a little exercise with going to the movies by walking to and from the theatre.
